Privacy
Effective 2026-07-21. dig.rest is operated by Not Rest Inc. Questions or requests: [email protected].
We keep this short and plain. dig.rest is an AI news-and-causal-analysis tool, and we collect only what the product needs to work.
What we store
- Your email — sign-in is passwordless: you enter your email, we send a one-time code, you enter it. No passwords.
- Your saved digs — the topics you save.
- Your notes — research notes you add to a dig.
- Your watch selections — topics you choose to watch, and your chain-email preference.
- Anything you choose to make public — a note you publish, or a forward call you lock. Published notes appear without your name or email attached; the words are public.
That is the whole list of what is tied to you. We do not ask for anything we do not use.
Anonymous signals
We count which topics are being dug, and which topics get looked at together, so the engine knows where to spend its attention. Those counts carry no user, no session and no IP — they are topic tallies, and they cannot be traced back to you.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. There are no third-party advertising trackers.
Emails
If you subscribe to watch a topic, you can receive chain emails when the story turns — instant, daily, or off, entirely your choice, changeable anytime in your account.
Donations
Donations go through an external payment link. We do not see or store your payment details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not pool one customer's data with another's.
Where your data lives
The site is served through Cloudflare (Pages and CDN). The analysis runs on our own infrastructure.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, or to delete your account and data — email [email protected] and we will take care of it. We honor reasonable access and deletion requests; this page is not a claim of certification under any specific regime.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.
The rest of the agreement
This page covers your data. The full Terms of Use — what dig.rest is, what its analysis and predictions are worth, and the risk you take acting on them — are at dig.rest/legal.
